Antiques Roadshow Raleigh

Antiques Roadshow came to Raleigh and I was excited to attend on Saturday. I brought with my some old Native American materials that have been passed down through my family. My mother’s family is from Washington DC and so she had a family member who worked in New Mexico in the late 1800s. It was really neat to learn that they were children’s toys, and of Apache origin.

In the PBS special Behind-the-Scenes Raleigh, the program noted that they are limited in cities the show can visit based on available space. Thanks to our new convention center we were able to support the program here, where they found the most valuable item ever in the shows history!
