Join Nancy for a conversation with Raleigh’s emerging entrepreneurs

9-17 invitationMayor McFarlane is excited to meet with young entrepreneurs for a dialogue about Raleigh’s future. You are paving the way to Raleigh’s future by investing your energy, creativity, resources and establishing businesses in our community. THANK YOU!

As a small business owner, Mayor McFarlane knows entrepreneurs are the backbone of any good economy — and nowhere is that more true than Raleigh. Business Leader Magazine named Mayor McFarlane one of the Triangle’s top entrepreneurs in 2013, and she has used that expertise to help make Raleigh one of the most small-business-friendly cities in the country.

On September 17, Mayor McFarlane will hold a Q&A session with small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to discuss ways Raleigh can help streamline the process of starting and growing their business. There is no cost to the event, which will be held at the Videri Chocolate Factory on W. Davie Street. Small business toolkits which outline the steps necessary and the resources available from the city will also be made available.

Please RSVP to the event here. In the meantime, we want to make sure the Q&A best addresses the concerns of local small business owners and entrepreneurs. Please fill out the survey here.

Special thanks to the current co-hosts of this event: Ryan Coyle-Johnston & Robby Johnston, Mor Aframian, Logan Smith, Katie & Jimmy Thompson, Sam Ratto, Starr Sink and Chris Heavner. If you would like to join as a sponsor, please contact info.nancymcfarlane@gmail.com.
