Raleigh highlighted in the WSJ for attracting highly skilled workers

 

Nancy McFarlane: Cities across the U.S. are struggling with a mismatch between worker education levels and job vacancies. Not Raleigh! Our city continues to attract highly skilled workers and maintains one of the narrowest education gaps in the country. Educational opportunities are essential. And so is keeping the qualities that make our city great, and improving upon them to continue to attract great people to call Raleigh home.
