Mayor McFarlane got in the spirit at Raleigh’s very first ComiCon! She welcomed the three day convention with Kevin Sorbo (“Hercules”) and the Wizard World Comicon CEO John Macalusco on the red carpet. When it came time to cut the ribbon, Mayor McFarlane pulled out her lightsaber- a first for the ComiCon ribbon cutting ceremonies.
